The Vibe: Western Chic. The Feeling: Love. The Vendors: Amazing. The Scenery: Out Of This World. The Weather? The Best Part. This mountainside western chic wedding inspiration styled shoot exceeded my wildest dreams in terms of bridal attire. Kasara from The Teal Door and I worked together on bringing the design to life but one thing that stayed important to us: we wanted to do something unique, that highlighted custom-curated elements from local creators. I wanted to step outside of the traditional styled tablescape, accompanying small wedding cake… I wanted this shoot to be playful, romantic, and to showcase the dreams of the creators behind the scenes.

Gown: A Bateau Bridal Boutique beauty, designed by Watters Designs. The Bonnie dress was the perfect style and fit for Chelsea! View the Bonnie Dress here.
Hair and Makeup: the incredible Tiffanee from Vibe Artistry styled these beautiful, unique and truly western chic braids. Makeup was a soft glam bridal look that enhanced Chelsea’s natural beauty.
Bridal Jewelry: for a true western chic vibe, turquoise jewelry was a MUST. Who better to create something totally unique for Chelsea than local silversmith, Dana Pruner- owner of StoneWise Silver Co. The statement necklace was the perfect compliment to the flattering neckline on the gown. The ring is also a custom piece.
These rhinestone covered boots were the perfect completion to our Bride’s look – the perfect touch of chic for this western bride.
Pocket Boutonnieres are all the rage these days and I AM HERE FOR IT! I absolutely love this unique way to incorporate florals in to the men’s look. But the real stunner here? A custom created Bolo Tie from StoneWise Silver Co. For mountainside western chic wedding inspiration, turquoise was a heavy hitter.
The Groom’s Suit was provided by Generation Tux– my favorite fully online suit and tuxedo rental shop. They make the rental process so easy for couples, planners and your guys. Forest and Fern Wedding Rentals is a local event rental provider. They provided the beautiful seating, glass table and wedding decor. I absolutely love working with them to bring my clients’ designs to life! Forest and Fern has these beautiful rust wing-back chairs, and velvet benches in several different colors. If you’re planning your Alaskan dream wedding, I highly recommend reaching out to Stacey and Melissa to browse their wide selection of rentals.
Kasara from The Teal Door absolutely knocked the florals out of the park. The Teal Door is a wedding florist who specializes in bohemian-inspired wedding florals. She designed this custom hat for our Bride to wear, as well. One of my favorite features from these western chic wedding inspired florals was the bar menu meadow- surrounding our beautiful bar menu in a full arrangement. A detail that I see often forgotten- the ribbon on the Bridal Bouquet. This ribbon should be a statement- it should tie in with the overall design, but it should contrast well with the flowers and give the bouquet that final touch that makes it truly stand out among the other wedding flowers.
Serendipity Video put together this beautiful video of the evening. If you are looking for a wedding videographer in Alaska, definitely reach out to Audrey!
